Thank you for addressing this important topic in direct relation with Human Rights, in particular the freedom to have control over one’s body.<\/p>\n

But, it seems to me, the Arab world lives in a disastrous context dominated by regressive, untimely and inhuman regimes. Only a few countries are just starting to stand out, including Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.<\/p>\n

The priorities of the Arab world go far beyond the little bit of personal sensuality that Madame Abboud’s case evokes. Homosexuality is a natural physical penchant. Is this not also found in animals and even in plants? These are evidences that the global Arab mentality does not yet understand and will perhaps never understand, that at the base, their education systems remain in total phase shift with respect to the universal reality.<\/p>\n

The role of ICAE is essential in this sense. Broader action to raise awareness of the need to reform school systems and radically rethink curricular content. Only in this way can topics like homosexuality be addressed in the rules of positive thinking. Granting the freedom to discuss such a theme while the Arab World lives under dictatorship and the obsessive fear of wars and occupation, can only have one meaning: the frivolity of those who proposed it.<\/a><\/p>\n

Merci d\u2019aborder cette th\u00e9matique importante, en relation directe avec le Droit de l\u2019Homme notamment, la libert\u00e9 de disposer de son corps.<\/p>\n

Mais, me semble-t-il, le Monde arabe vit dans un contexte d\u00e9sastreux domin\u00e9 par des r\u00e9gimes r\u00e9trogrades, intempestifs et inhumains. Seuls quelques rares pays commencent \u00e0 peine \u00e0 sortir du lot dont le Liban, le Maroc et la Tunisie.<\/p>\n

Les priorit\u00e9s du Monde arabes d\u00e9passent de loin le petit brin de sensualit\u00e9 personnelle qu\u2019\u00e9voque le cas de Mme Abboud. L\u2019homosexualit\u00e9 est un penchant physique naturel. N\u2019en trouve-t-on pas chez les animaux \u00e9galement et m\u00eame chez les plantes. Ce sont des \u00e9vidences que la mentalit\u00e9 arabe globale ne comprend pas encore et ne le comprendra peut-\u00eatre jamais tant qu\u2019\u00e0 la base leurs syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs restent en d\u00e9phasage total par rapport \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 universelle.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00f4le d\u2019ICAE est primordial dans ce sens. Une action plus large pour sensibiliser \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9former les syst\u00e8mes scolaires et repenser de fond en comble les contenus des cursus scolaires. C\u2019est seulement ainsi que des th\u00e9matiques comme l\u2019homosexualit\u00e9 pourront \u00eatre abord\u00e9s dans les r\u00e8gles de la r\u00e9flexion positive. S\u2019accorder la libert\u00e9 de discuter une telle th\u00e9matique alors que le Monde arabe vit sous la dictature et la hantise des guerres et de l\u2019occupation, cela ne peut avoir qu\u2019une seule signification\u00a0: la frivolit\u00e9 de ceux qui l\u2019ont propos\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
