Viezzer<\/strong>(English, \u00a0Espa\u00f1ol)<br \/>\n<strong>Brazilian sociologist and popular educator with a special focus on womens\u00b4 rights for gender equity and socio-environmental education and action.\u00a0She is consultant\u00a0on these issues and director of MV Consultoria Socioambiental,in Toledo-Paran\u00e1-Brazil.\u00a0 Moema is involved with different NGOs with women and environment, some of them she contributed to create.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have read all the articles, comments and contributions until last week.<\/p>\n<p>First of all, I would like to congratulate the ICAE on one more virtual seminar, a special possibility of staying connected in reflection and dialogue for lifelong education.<\/p>\n<p>My comment goes mainly in the same direction of Rosa Torres&#8217; comment, and I would like to emphasize two aspects:<\/p>\n<div>1. The first one is the meaning of LEARNING: What and for what?<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>From literacy, technical training or even higher education,<\/li>\n<li>perhaps the ICAE can be a privileged space to always remember the importance<\/li>\n<li>of providing and remembering and practicing THE PRINCIPLES AND VALUES that lead to sustainable societies,<\/li>\n<li>regardless of the means and the modality (face-to-face, distance, formal, non-formal, informal).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>2.\u00a0In this sense, digital inclusion, so necessary at the moment, can not be merely technical.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>In this sense, digital inclusion, so necessary at the moment, can not be merely technical.<\/li>\n<li>The Internet opens the information of all worlds, for the good and the bad, for the better and for the worse.<\/li>\n<li>Learning to move in the virtual world also involves learning how to manage what you want to obtain from this virtual world for the benefit of humanity and of Mother Earth as such.<\/li>\n<li>And that&#8217;s a fundamental part of lifelong education, isn&#8217;t it?<br \/>\nDigital inclusion WITH socio-environmental inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>GREAT COMMENT Robert Juuko!<\/p>\n<p>It will be so interesting to share deepening on these questions, close to others e.g. Rosa Maria Torres.<br \/>\nComplementing articles and comments.<br \/>\nThose are the questions I meant when I wrote insisting on PRINCIPLES AND VALUES education should reinforce when building capacity on skills.<br \/>\nMy best regards to everyone who participates in this seminar.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Commentario\u00a0 de Moema L. From REPEM as well as from ICAE\u00a0 I have bee\u00a0 presenting\u00a0 at\u00a0national , regional and international level that\u00a0 education and special non\u00a0formal education\u00a0 should prepare\u00a0 women ( and\u00a0 men9 to exercise their\u00a0citizenship. The curriculum specially in non formal education should\u00a0prepare young and adults to exercise their human rights. and build future\u00a0life, I agree very much with the presentation made by Roberto Guevara where\u00a0he specially refer to the value of soft skills \u201cto secure \u201csuccess in\u00a0today\u2019s world, particularly in contemporary careers and workplaces\u201d (Sharma\u00a02016).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I agree soft skills should help young people not only for work but also for\u00a0life. f The Australian research, that Guevara refer to\u00a0 \u00a0highlight that the\u00a0eight transferable skills \u201cproblem-solving, communication skills, digital\u00a0literacy, teamwork, financial literacy, creativity, critical thinking and\u00a0presentation skills\u201d. But again these should help for work al life\u00a0including to exercise their human rights.<\/p>\n<p>In the discussions of the ODS, I did defend\u00a0 \u00a0that the approach of non\u00a0formal education should contain a holistic focus\u00a0 \u00a0to prepare\u00a0 \u00a0 young and\u00a0adult to exercise their citizenship.<\/p>\n<p>But unfortunately this was not finally introduced \u2026 and as Timothy say\u00a0currently there is no space to attempt to situate this discussion within\u00a0the context of the 2030 International Development Agenda \u201c.
